Life Is Not a Turkey!!!!

We wait for Holidays look forward to Holidays and Then THEY are so over.  We have this day and everyday but they are not special. We make them special. They are special because we take a moment to reflect to stop to be together. But do we need a turkey. I am again bringing a Turkey to a family of Vegetarians  to celebrate Thanksgiving.

There is a time.

We don' t know when. When we enter or leave this world. Where the time goes. Why we grown up. How we are who we are.

Do we, go to the next level. It seems like  a deep well  that we are swimming through.

Everyone knows your name!!!!

Back in the Big Easy and everyone knows your name. Everyone talks to you and remembers you and your family. Everyone is somebody's somebody. And the sky is beautiful and the night is quiet.
And it rains every afternoon and cools down the day.

New Orleans /Dreams and Nightmares

We are back at our house that is finished. Our house holding our half eaten well kept secrets, we are here for the fourth of July, fireworks exploding everywhere. People eating, drinking and children lighting sparklers. Eating American chicken, potato salad and Watermelon. Why do we do it? Is it part of our culture of over indulgence. We get to  get to add in somewhere. After our of the explosion we can all go
home to our homes. Thanking God we didn't and that didn't happen. And it is quiet in the neighbor.

Summer and school is over!

Life is slowing down. Ready for the next phase.

Why is it when.........

Something happens that is so perfect we can't believe.
That simple things really do make us happy.
Why did we like Barbar when we were kids. All he wanted to do was to make  all the elephants  wear suits and get jobs.
Why is that  Disneyland owns everything.
Why do we have to think so much!

How sweet it is !!!!!!

Do you remember Jackie Gleason from the Honeymooner ? Well he said that all the time and the show was
called the Honeymooners but it was always telling Alice he was going to " Fly her to the Moon." That is not my kind of Honeymoon! That is the way seems seem today Honey on the outside and reality on the inside. Maybe we are eating too many sweet announcements and sweet words. But flying to the moon can
be a good thing if you are flown the right way.

Being later or early

It seems you start out with enough time and then it runs away from you like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland

Why is taking the Metro each day a new adventure? I am doing the same thing, but the outcome is almost always different. Will we be on time getting to work well maybe. Today we were going kind of slow. Why I was wondering why everyday! When low and behold a Deer would you believe a Deer running down the tracks. The Deer didn't know how to get out. Kinda reminds me of us. Maybe it was a sign or maybe not.

New York Trip 2

I went to see the Picasso the Woman in NYC and it was very telling how Picasso viewed his women.

They were all in parts not together not whole. Picasso betrayed himself as half bull not a man.
Maybe being a man was not enough!

Back from NYC

Why is Women artist are now becoming famous when they bare themselves in public. Who is being used and by who. Go see "The Artist is Present " at MOMA and tell me what you think.
